June 4, 2010 - The solutions to the pressure, temperature, and salinity equations should now all be more accurate than in previous versions. The changes have been incorporated into the existing file fishes-2.1.zip.

May 25, 2010 - FISHES-2.1 is available for download. Major changes are:

(1) The halite physics has been improved.

(2) The compressibility could sometimes be zero before, causing the pressure equation iterations to fail to converge. This issue is resolved.

(3) The salt balance is improved under conditions of phase separation, by using Newton's method to compute a correction to the salinity.
